The Shot

Lawrence just gave me my first Nuelesta shot. I am so proud of him, thought we would have to go to a nurse or something to get through it. Worked out well, he's a quick study. Heather my chemo nurse gave him a few lessons yesterday and he did it like a pro. Guess someone is in the wrong field. He has a steady hand.

It's over, now we'll see if this bone marrow white blood cell shot will have me flat on my back. The side-effect is bone pain...OUCH!

  1. Yay!... you guys are the picture of the strength, the faith, and the courage necessary when facing life's challenges together.

I am proud to know a couple of such commitment, and devotion to one cause, the survival of their family.

How can a team like yours, not be successful?

  2. Tish,
I am so glad that you are writing this blog. It is truly an inspiration to me and others. You have such a good group of family and friends to pull you through this journey, and you and your family will be stronger for it. This blog is also a good idea so that you don't have to repeat yourself 100 times when people ask about your treatment. :)
    Love,
    Abby
